What does our assessment data tell us?
*30 hour children achieve well in CL
*EAL children make excellent progress from start point; they are on track to meet national average, due to the significant support and focus the school has on communication and language
* Autumn and Spring born children make good progress in the year
* EYPP children are outperforming their peers
* Boys are significantly behind girls in attainment levels (a number of these children also sit in the other ‘groups’ and are summer born)
What are we doing to improve the outcomes for children in Communication and Language?
* Subject Leader to explore who the boys are not on track – do they have other factors?
*Whole staff team to explore - how we can use the garden to promote interactions and communication and language?
