Welcome

Welcome to Hart Hill Nursery School

Hart Hill Nursery School is a maintained, resourced based, nursery school. We are passionate about what we provide for the children who attend and ensure that the children are at the heart of everything we do.

We pride ourselves in offering exciting, first hand experiences for all children.  We interact in a hands-on way with your children, going on walks in the local area, learning to cook healthy foods, playing with children with their own games and ideas.  We work hard to develop relationships and trust with your children, as quickly as we can, so they feel safe and we can help them to explore and discover new things.

We offer places for children who are 2, 3 or 4 year olds, through government funding, or private paying; with a range of flexible places available to help parents juggle working and caring for their young children.  Please call the office to discuss this in more detail.

It is important to us, from the beginning, that we build a close partnership with yourselves.  We welcome you and your child to visit us, and we visit you at home, so that your child recognises us when they take part in the settling sessions. Your child will have a keyworker; this person spends time playing and getting to know your child, so that they feel secure in their company.  The keyworker will share and celebrate your child's progress with you and work with you to help them continue to learn, throughout their journey with us.

The school offers our children an excellent environment to explore, both indoors and outside.  The children have the opportunity to try new experiences and build resilience in a secure space, when challenges arise.

We look forward to working in partnership with you and your family to make sure that, when the time comes, your child is fully prepared and ready to start the next step in their education and hope we make their first experience of school a fun, exciting and memorable time.

Thank you for browsing our website.  I hope that find everything that you are looking for, however please do not hesitate to contact the school should you have any further questions.
