Getting Ready for School
The school plans and runs workshops in the Summer Term, in preparation for your child to move onto your chosen Infant or Primary School.
If your child is born between 01.09.2019 and 31.08.2010, you should now be applying for the school that you would like them to attend from 1st September 2024.
DEADLINE FOR SCHOOL APPLICATIONS IS 15th JANUARY 2024
Choosing a School
Choosing your child's next school can be a scary thought. We would recommend that you visit schools in your local areas; many will have open days. We also encourage families to look at a school's website, as you can get a really good feel from the photographs and content.
If you would like help to know the local school, or support on the types of questions you should ask on a visit, speak to your child's keyworker or class teacher. If you have individual worries about your child, you can also speak to the school's family workers or SENDCO.
Completing the Application for School
If you require help to complete the school application, we will be running a workshop, with laptops available on the following days:
Tuesday 21st November from 12:45pm
Tuesday 12th December from 9am
Wednesday 10th January from 9am and from 12:45pm
Deadline for applications is 15th January 2024.
Please read this booklet before coming to the workshop and before filling in the application, to make sure you have all the correct information.
