School Performance

‘Children and adults construct the curriculum together.  Practice starts with the child, and grows in partnership.’ Birth to Five Matters 2021

At Hart Hill Nursery School we monitor and track children’s learning through individual learning profiles.

We take photographs and write learning journeys about how and what your children are doing whilst with us.  We invite you to view these regularly in school.

Attainment and Progress at Hart Hill

We closely monitor the children’s progress and attainment.  This is broken down to compare various groups of children.  It allows us to plan for gaps or concerns and ensures that opportunities for teaching and learning are supporting in all areas of the school day.  The data we monitor feeds into the school development plan for the following year.  Alongside this class teachers meet with the headteacher each term to discuss children who at risk of delay and what interventions we can put in place to support their individual needs.

Please find below the attainment and progress data for the last academic year:

We are committed to the safety and welfare of all our children and follow guidelines and procedures set out by Luton Borough Council’s Safeguarding Children Board. Our Safeguarding Children policy is available for you to read along with all the other policies and procedures. If we have any concerns about your child’s wellbeing we will always talk to you. Equally, if you feel you need help or support with your child or family we are always happy to help you.
