 New Vacancy – Site Agent L4 – 20 hours a week, 52 weeks a year

About the Job

As a Site Agent you are responsible to the HR Manager for the attention required to keep the school functioning. We are seeking to appoint a Site Agent who will lead the site team in the maintenance of the school site, supporting in the areas of security, heating & lighting, health & safety and maintenance, with basic handy person skills.

About You

Do you have experience in buildings or site security?

Are you able to demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety for pupils and employees, including COSHH?

Do you have strong handyperson skills, such as simple plumbing and joinery experience?

Can you demonstrate a good ability to manage others and your own workload, including changing priorities as the need arises?

If so, then we look forward to receiving your application.

The work can be very rewarding, however, it can also be demanding and challenging too, so you need to be resilient, calm, composed and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour as dealing with members of the public is a feature of this job. This job involves a considerable level of physical effort and an ability to work outdoors, sometimes exposed to adverse weather conditions or hazardous situation.

Additional information

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.
