Newsletter June 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a busy term we have been having; I cannot believe we are already in June!  There is so much planned for the next five weeks.  If you are leaving us in July, I am sure you are well on your way, planning for your child’s new school and busy in the phase of transition.

The next five weeks are vital for the school and I know the class teachers will be celebrating in lots of different ways, looking back with the children and seeing how they have progressed during their time with us.

If your child is staying with us next year, rest assured, we are all being busy bees, getting very excited about how we can revamp the classrooms and bring lots of fun filled activities for you in September.

Kind Regards
Katey Thompson

The children will be involved in class photographs on Monday 19th June.  If your child is not normally in school on this day, please speak to the class team to find out the timetable.  We would love to see you in school for the photograph, as they are going to be completed in a fun way!

Sports Day

We are holding our sports day on Wednesday 19th July 2017.  This will be repeated morning and afternoon.  If your child does not normally attend on this day, please bring them in.  Each class has planned a different activity for the children to take part in on a round robin.

All parents will be able to sign up for parents meetings on Tuesday 4th July.  The meetings are being held from 3:00-7:00pm.  It is vital that you keep to your 10 minute slot and staff will arrange another appointment if you wish to discuss anything in further detail.

The staffs have been working very hard to plan some nice end of year trips for all of the children.  Please speak to your child’s class teacher or room leader if you have not heard about these.
